Privacy Policy for MetriclyHub
This Privacy Policy describes how the MetriclyHub application ("MetriclyHub", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information. MetriclyHub is a client-side analytics tool that processes TikTok performance data directly on your device.
1. No Server-Side Data Storage
MetriclyHub is designed as a "Local-First" application. We do not operate, own, or maintain any backend servers to store, collect, or monitor your personal analytics data. All data retrieved from TikTok is stored and processed exclusively in the local sandbox environment of your iOS or macOS device.
2. Information Accessed via TikTok API
To provide its services, MetriclyHub requests your permission to access the following data via the official TikTok Open API:
- Identity Info: Display name and avatar (via
user.info.basicanduser.info.profile). - Account Stats: Follower and engagement counts (via
user.info.stats). - Content Metadata: Titles and performance metrics of your videos (via
video.list).
3. Use of Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare Pages solely for hosting the MetriclyHub static website and Universal Link configuration files (AASA). Cloudflare does not have access to your TikTok account data or any analytics processed within the MetriclyHub app.
4. Data Deletion and Revocation
Since MetriclyHub does not store data on any server, "deleting your data" is entirely under your control:
- Local Data: To delete all analytics data cached by MetriclyHub, simply uninstall the App from your device.
- API Access: To revoke MetriclyHub's permission to access your TikTok data, you must go to your TikTok App > Settings and Privacy > Security > Manage app permissions.
5. Security
MetriclyHub relies on the native security architecture of iOS and macOS to protect your data. Because no data is transmitted to an external server, the risk of a centralized data breach is eliminated.
